GAPP is a beautiful space where people are welcome to come and chat, share a cup of tea/coffee and a bite to eat. From this space we operate our assistance program. We provide assistance with: budgeting, food, utility bills, advocacy and referrals.
Our vision for GAPP is an inclusive and safe place for the Glebe and surrounding community.

Things We Do At GAPP:
Emergency food parcels
You are able to come along on Monday or Wednesday morning if you are in need of an emergency food parcel. You can receive 3 food parcels each 6 months period. If you are still in need you can discuss this with one of our Community Workers.
Emergency Relief Appointments
If you are in crisis and need urgent help with bills or other financial pressures, please call and make an appointment to see one of our Community Workers on ph (02) 9552 4164. For your appointment you will need to provide a copy of your latest Income Statement (Centrelink or otherwise) as well as any other paperwork that shows evidence of hardship.
If you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you can ask to see our Indigenous community worker when you make your appointment.
Our Community Workers assist individuals who face financial and other difficulties in their lives. We have a caring, solution-focused approach, aimed at helping people to recognise their own personal resources at the same time as identifying, drawing on and partnering with external supports. We have an Anglicare Family Counsellor onsite, available by referral from the Community Workers.

GAPP Gatherings
On the first Monday of each month, GAPP puts on a BBQ lunch. Come and enjoy the company of other local residents over lunch. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to know when our next BBQ is coming up.
Family Worker
A Family Worker is present at GAPP on Mondays. This service is available to families with children aged 0-8 residing in the local area. This worker may offer parenting courses, groups, home visits and a range of individual support.
